The STUNNING large chess board, a staggering 16" square and 22mm thick, is one of a kind. Ash and Walnut tiles with the most magnificent grains bursting with colour and depth from the Danish oil finish, all encased in a mitred corner, exotic hardwood Zebrano boarder. The pieces were designed and intricately created to bring the board to be the finishing touches, bringing this board to life!
This precisely assembled chess board has perfect joins all around satisfying every perfectionists brain (trust me!). These photos are also no filter or over editing... the board truly has that rich deep colour in person, the incredible Walnut and Ash bursting out to play, it really is captivating.

Each playing piece has been cleverly designed by myself and partnered with a professional chess player to be correct proportions to one another. Paired with stunning matching details across each piece, this makes for.. in my opinion.. the best looking wooden chess set out there.
