HOW TO GET YOURS

  • PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

    The most important step! unlike portrait painters, I need to design each shape and work out the layers. For this I need some very important requirements from your pet photos to work from and negate any need for guess work:

    PHOTOS

    CLEAR, FRONT FACE shot with ears as natural as possible to capture the true look of your pet. I use this for the main shape design.

    Multiple photos of your pet in different lighting so I can clearly see colours, patterns, individual features.

    what not to use- Grainy. Dull photos giving wrong colour. Front of photo must be front on not looking down. FULL size photos, not photos where the pet is half the room away!

    From there we can go to WhatsApp because there is usually a lot of back and forth with photos because I like to give clear updates along the process!

    THE BUILD PROCESS

    Once I receive the photos and we have agreed price, next I work out the shapes, layers, and rough colours. I do this via a paint app, and send them to you to check everything and tweak any bits that need it.

    I always say allow 2 weeks to fully complete but I try to get them done sooner if required!

    Once you're happy with the final piece I request payment and post your personal pet Chops to you!

  • PRICING

    This is variable based mainly on these factors:

    Size, complexity of shapes, complexity of colour/patterns

    price ranges usually from £30-£70

    DOG Chops are £50+

    Examples:

    A Black lab is simple shapes and colour so would cost the lower end.

    A Husky with big mane, spikey, patterns is on the upper end.

    A terrier with fluffy muzzle and eyebrows with a variety of fur colours is 'complex' shapes and colours, prices higher.

How soon can I get it?

I always say allow 2 weeks.

This varies on how busy I am at the time so please just enquire! I appreciate people buy their custom pet Chops as a gift, so if it is a date that's coming up soon, just ask and i'll try my best to make it happen!

How long does it take you to make?

Each and every Chops is designed by me, firstly I have to create the individual shapes and layers. I then hand cut and paint each piece. EVERY Chops is an original artwork

The full process depending on complexity can be anywhere from 2-6 hours over multiple days!

How is Pet Chops delivered?

Chops come in their own neat box and presented inside when opened. Perfect for a gift!

Delivery based on size can be from £3-£6

How many Pet Chops have I made?

150+ Individual pets! Mostly Dogs as I first started this entire business doing that! I have also done 20 cats, a horse, tortoise, hamster, rabbit and bird!

I have done a fair few in memory of a passed away pet friend, which is always an honour and very special.
